Under-Uprising: Stonewall 50

Dupont Underground joins along in the celebration of PRIDE month, highlighting the history of the uprising of inclusion and diversity.

A visual riot of the 50th anniversary of Stonewall and LGBTQ+ communities will be showcased by the Library of Congress, and DC Public Library. Archives of news, photojournalism, the progression of activism in the media, and LGBTQ+ life in DC community from the 70’s until present celebrate and challenge.

Rarely seen items will be revisited on the large projectors showcasing lives lived in fanfare and in protest.

Please see our calendar for gallery hours and events.

Gallery hours will be Thursday’s 1-6pm and Saturday’s 12-4pm
